  PHNOM PENH, July 3 (Xinhua) -- A five-year-old boy from southwest Cambodia's Kampot province has been confirmed for H5N1 human avian influenza, bringing the number of cases to 12 so far this year, the Ministry of Health said in a statement on Thursday. "A laboratory result from the National Institute of Public Health showed on July 3 that the boy was positive for H5N1 virus," the statement said. "The patient has the symptoms of fever, cough, and dyspnea , and he is currently being rescued by a team of doctors."
